Companies not ready to embrace change???
I have noticed that companies throughout my short working life i.e. 5 years have always failed when it came to embracing change. Alot of paper work is required to solve the simplest of problems like a schedule change.
Online work spaces would make a huge difference in companies like mine i.e. Home Depot where it is normal to collect a huge stack of paper work in a day. That would include special requests by customers, quotes for mortgages and call backs. You might be surprised on the number of customers who are never called back within the hour. If say we had a calender application for each individual user which would be colour coded until that particular user does something about it (Calling a customer back for e.g.)
Change is beneficial most of the time when it comes to technology as it increases the output of the associate and increases customer satisfaction.
