Traffic on Circle Drive Detoured Between Clancy Drive and 11th Street Starting Saturday, September 18
For Release: September 14, 2010
Beginning early Saturday morning, September 18, traffic on Circle Drive between Clancy Drive and 11th Street will experience delays and short term closures due to rail line relocation work in the area. Flag people will be on site to direct traffic during construction. Work is expected to be completed by Saturday evening, weather permitting.
Also on Saturday, Circle Drive traffic will begin using the newly constructed 11th Street off-ramp as a single lane, two-way traffic detour while work continues on the Circle Drive South Project. The detour will remain in place for the next two years.
Motorists are reminded to allow extra time when travelling through construction areas, watch for work crews, and obey all detours, signs, and barriers. The City of Saskatoon thanks motorists for their patience.
Information regarding the Circle Drive South Project is available on the City of Saskatoon website at www.saskatoon.ca (look under “C” for Circle Drive South Project), or call the project hotline at 1-888-851-5303.
